Remember that the atuo insurance
company or individual agent who is giving you the auto insurance
quote - whether it's a real person sitting across
a desk from you or a computer-generated quote - is vying
for your business. If that agent (or computer) doesn't
have time to answer your questions, he or she (or it) probably
isn't going to have time to take care of you if you
should ever file a claim.
Some common things that vary from one car insurance
policy to another include the amount of deductible, flexibility
of payments (whether you can pay monthly, quarterly or semi-annually),
and total amount of coverage. Terms of your auto insurance
coverage may also vary from one car insurance company to another.
If you often have someone else drive your car, be sure that
other driver will also be covered. Whatever your special needs
or features, ask the car insurance agent questions about that
until you're sure that you understand the policy package
that's being offered.
Finding an auto insurance quote with a great
rate isn't impossible, but it does take some time and
commitment on your part. Don't depend on the agent to
tell you everything you need to know. Before you accept that
a policy is just what you're looking for, take time
to ask all the questions you can think of. |
